Updates are compilations of ideas from books that have been published since 2000. The material provided for each book comprises:

  • Table of contents

  • Dust jacket summary

  • Chapter summaries (where the authotr has provided them – which is in about 20% of cases)

  • A book review**

  • Identification of the key ideas in the book

**Book Review

LRAP has been providing book reviews for Asian management journals for the past three years.

  • Where a book review has been published, you will get the review, plus a summary of the key ideas

  • Where the book has not been formally reviewed, you will get up to five pages of information about it, such as the key ideas, and some discussion about them

The objective of an Update is to stimulate your thinking, by helping you find new ideas that are relevance to you or your organization. Once you have been so stimulated, we are able to help you design – and even implement – the new ideas.

  • We compile those 5 into your own Update

If you would like to be kept updated about new ideas in your selected area, you can subscribe to an Update Update, which means that every month you will receive additional information related to your topic area. This could be in the form of an outline of a new book, supplementary material from other books.

There is little use in being up to date just once in your business career! New ideas are being published all the time, so once up-to-date, we advise you to keep up-to-date.
